School Library
The Birks
Grove Library aims to:

  • Support, enhance and empower learning and teaching across the curriculum
  • Help students develop a life-long passion for reading

Grove School's library is an attractive, well-resourced area offering a wide range of information under the full-time supervision of two librarians. The comprehensive stock of books, DVD’s, and CDs, together with a network of PCs, meets not only the academic needs of students, but also encourages their leisure reading and listening.

The library stock comprises a wide range of fiction, both classic and contemporary; non-fiction covering all curriculum areas and of recreation/hobby interest; a DVD collection, a range of magazines and newspapers. There are 5 networked computers and print and photocopying facilities.

The Library also houses the Careers Library with information on Universities, Professions and Career pathways.

Some students also take on the role of library assistants.
